About Us
Ellenton Growers Orchid Center is located on 5 acres in
west central Florida, between Sarasota and St Petersburg. We are within
easy reach of I-75, US 41 and US 301. The business is dedicated to
spreading the appreciation and enjoyment of orchids.
We have a diverse
collection of orchid species and hybrids-from seedlings to blooming size
plants. Many different genera are included, mostly cattleyas, dendrobiums,
and oncidiums. The inventory is always changing, so please contact us if you
do not see something you are looking for on this site. We can be contacted
by phone, fax, mail or email.
Hours at the nursery are by appointment
only. Plants can be shipped anywhere in the United States, weather
permitting. This nursery is the result of an over-20 year old hobby
that started with the gift of one orchid plant.
After many years, and over
300 plants, the desire to someday own an orchid nursery began to form. We
are a small nursery and hope to provide some plants not found from mass
sellers. We strive to provide individual attention and information to our
customers.
